Make A Donation - Preview the Domain Lists!

For anyone who makes a paypal donation of $5 or more using the tip jar, I will add you to the small list of those who get to preview the domain lists before I post them here. To those on the preview list, I will email each domain list out several hours before I post it here. It's my way of saying thanks for your support.

Just send your paypal donation, and I will send you an email (using your paypal email address) confirming that you'd like to be added to the preview list.

Note: If you've donated in the last 3 months or so, I have already sent you an email about getting added to the preview list.

DnXpert.com is Having Another Huge Contest

About six months ago, DnXpert.com had a huge giveaway contest on their site. Well, now John is back with another great contest. Prizes are to be given away via a random draw on November 30. To accumulate points for the drawing, you must perform a series of actions detailed on their site.
Some of the prizes that they are giving away are cash, domains, parking credits, gift certificates and much more. I hope to be winning a prize or two myself, especially some cash. There is a $500 paypal cash prize from DNXpert themselves, and that would be a great prize to win ($500 buys about 70 domain registrations or one really good two-word .com domain.) I won 6 months free hosting in the last contest. Oh, and John promises that all who enter will win something, so you've got nothing to lose by entering.

Also, check out the DNXpert forum, where you'll find great discussion about domain names, and large lists of expiring/dropped names.

Build A Niche Store (BANS) and Quit Parking

I just found out about a great program that allows you to set up websites in minutes as an ebay affiliate. The program is called Build A Niche Store (BANS), and many are turning to this program as an alternative to parking their domain names.
Basically, once you purchase the software, you upload the files to your host, make a couple of tweaks, and then you are able to customize your own ebay sales site. The best part is - you don't have to sell anything! The ebay product links on your site will generate income for you if a visitor purchases an item (any item) on EBAY in the next 7 days. You can also earn revenue if someone signs up for ebay from your link.

Here are a couple of sites I just set up:
After Dark Books
LeisureCondos.com
ProfessionalSailing.com

The BANS software optimizes your SEO and product categories. Once you get the hang of it, you can set up a site in 30 minutes or less. The license fee ($97) isn't bad when you consider what you're probably making on those parked domains.

Kevin Ham Article at DN Journal

For those of you who haven't heard of him, Kevin Ham is a Korean immigrant who started with no money to speak of, and is now worth over $300 million. He has built his fortune in such areas as web hosting, domain acquisitions, and pay-per-click revenue. Read his fascinating story at DNJournal.com

What I find interesting about his story is that he seemed to change his focus as his circumstances evolved. His example should remind us to be flexible, and be able to adapt to whatever life throws at us to achieve our goals.

Similar Content Checker Tool

Here's a nice tool that will allow you to check how closely related the content of two webpages are. Since most search engines don't give viability to pages that they believe have copied content from another site, you can use this to check your site's good standing.
