How To Use Google Chrome Honey to Get Cheap Godaddy Domain Registrations

As a follow up to my prior post listing Godaddy Coupon Codes, here is a neat little tip that you can use to get the best pricing on a domain name at Godaddy.

First, install Google Chrome on your computer. Google Chrome is a web browser, similar to Internet Explorer or Firefox. Here's the download link: www.google.com/chrome/

Run Google Chrome and install the Honey application from here (copy and paste link into Google Chrome address bar): http://joinhoney.com/?r=chrome

Using the Google Chrome browser,go to Godaddy's website, and enter the domain name that you want to register. Go through the checkout process as normal, until you come to the review page before you actually purchase your domain name.

Towards the bottom of the screen, you should see an orange button that says "Find Savings". Click this button, and Honey will start checking all of the Godaddy coupon codes that it can find which apply to your current purchase. This may take a couple of minutes to check 25 or more coupon codes.

Once finished, you should have the best deal loaded into your checkout screen. Often, this will result in a purchase cost of as little as $1.17 per domain name. Of course, Honey can be used for other registrars as well.
